Testify in Support of HB115 - Universal Education Freedom Accounts
Testify in Support of HB115 - Universal Education Freedom Accounts
January 16, 2025 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM
Legislative Office Building, 33 N State St, Concord, NH 03301, USA
Bill Text for HB115
Hearing: HB 115 - Universal Education Freedom Accounts
Position: Support
Date and Time: Thursday, January 16th in Room 205 of the Legislative Office Building (LOB) at 1:00 PM.
NHLA Activists are encouraged to contact members of the committee. The best way is to provide testimony on that date at that location; to do so simply show up and fill out a pink card. Once you have filled out the card, hand it to a committee member and they will add you to the queue. The Chairman of the committee will call your name and you will have a few minutes to explain why you support the legislation.
If this is impossible for you, you may email members of the committee. There is an online written-testimony option in Gencourt, but I would suggest emailing instead as it is my belief that people are more likely to read emails than they are to read the testimony submitted through an online portal. The emails of all the members of the Education Funding committee can be found here.
You'll want to ensure a few things when you write your testimony on the subject:
- Make it polite
- Make it relevant
- Make it compelling
- Make it brief
